A quick primer on the ongoing Sarah Palin abuse of power scandal, from a local Alaska news station. The allegation is that Palin’s sister was going through a nasty divorce from a man who happened to be a state trooper. Palin allegedly put pressure on the Alaska Public Safety Commissioner to fire the brother-in-law, and when he refused, Palin fired the commissioner.
Also, Palin is apparently invoking executive privilege to withhold emails pertaining to the allegations.
