Banksy is not profound.  His messages are, at best, thumbnails of actual ideas: obvious and incomplete.  “Oh, yes, the irony of capturing something while we destroy it.”  He’s the illiterate version of Jenny Holzer.  “And I’m doing this at Sundance where it’s all about the camera.”   Rather than blow your mind, he settles for jerking it off a little.

Don’t be fooled by the guerilla medium.  It’s gimmickry. He has only one successful work in his portfolio.

OMG WE ARE THAT FLOWER AND ALSO SOMETIMES THAT GUY.

Meh.
