janehu:triplecanopy: 1970s Biopolis Every now and then I have these lucid dreams about living in Boston, where I went to college. Dream Boston has a distinct geography that never changes from dream to dream (I can probably draw a map of it by now) but this layout looks nothing like actual Boston. All the landmarks are there, though. There’s a Charles River, a Commonwealth Avenue, a Masspike, there are specific buildings on my campus —and while they’re all consistently placed from dream to dream and always have the same appearance they bear no resemblance at all to their real world counterparts.  Anyway, this picture that someone posted to Tumblr, above: that’s my freshman dorm in Dream Boston, exactly. And it sits on the river just like in the picture.
