New Broken Bells Video Stars Hall & Oates

When director and Broken Bells friend Matt McCormick heard the hand-claps in the group’s second single, a certain chart-topping R&B duo came to mind: Hall & Oates. “[I] looked up the ‘Private Eyes’ video on YouTube,” he told Vulture, “and realized that song structure and tempo was pretty darn close to that of ‘Ghost Inside,’ and from there just started playing around with syncing up the visuals…”
